Rebecca M. Woodring, CAE

The most precious gift we can offer others is our presence…in the moment. ~ Thich Nhat Hanh

Rebecca Woodring, CAE, excitedly arrived at the National Association of Residential Property Managers in 2020 filling the Marketing Director and Chapter Support Manager roles, now filling the Deputy Executive Director role.  Rebecca comes with over 30 years’ experience including 16 years as an Executive Director for Community Associations Institute. She is inspired by taking on new challenges and initiatives, the exploration of data and ideas, developing amazing events and supporting vibrant community-oriented and professional trade organizations.

Rebecca earned the esteemed Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Center for Social Leadership (CSL) as well as the Virginia Society of Association Executives (VSAE). The Certified Association Executive (CAE®) credential is held by 3,000+ diverse association executives across the nation. People from all backgrounds and disciplines have sought the CAE to help distinguish themselves in the workplace and convey their commitment to the missions of associations.

Rebecca's experience was earned at various local non-profit associations and companies ranging from common interest community association management and real estate to architecture. She is well versed in event, volunteer and meeting management, mission and governance compliance, strategic planning, membership and volunteer development, marketing, public relations and communication.

A strong believer in giving back, over the years she has been involved with various organizations such as Norfolk Botanical Gardens, Visual and Performing Arts Academy and Booster Club, Virginia Beach Neptune Festival, Boy Scouts of America, Virginia Rush Soccer, Lynnhaven Business Association, Virginia Beach Council of Civic Organizations and various local schools and civic leagues.

A unique non-profit foundation that Rebecca considers important is The Foundation for a Better Life. It began as a simple idea to promote positive values. They believe that people are basically good and just need a reminder. And that the values we live by are worth more when we pass them on.

Her three beautiful children are the pride of her life in Hampton Roads where she finds time to volunteer, hike, travel, enjoy the beach, is learning to golf and loves being an avid NFL fan.
